Erik Lepis

Erik Lepis taught in suburban New York where his reading and writing workshop classroom served as a model visitation site for teachers.  He later joined the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project as a staff developer, supporting balanced literacy implementation in schools both regionally and nationally.  Erik then co-founded The Living Literacy Network, partnering closely with building and district leaders in leading school-wide change and raising student achievement through curriculum development and the teaching of reading and writing.
