Lian-En Lin was born and grew up in Taiwan. After leaving her first job in an animation company, she started making her own paintings. Her expertise is in using crayons and acrylic paint, and combining paper mosaics. All of her creations are based on her feelings at a certain time or her life experiences. She enjoys dogs and cars, thundershowers in the afternoon, illustrating for children, and watching soap operas. She won the Bologna Ragazzi award in 2021 for Home.
Visually complex and also relatable to a young audience, this sophisticated title would make a useful contribution to most library collections.
